HCV Action and PHE hepatitis C roadshow in Manchester: Presentations

HCV Action and PHE
On 13th December 2016, HCV Action and Public Health England (PHE) staged a hepatitis C good practice roadshow in Manchester. The event was designed to showcase and share best practice in the prevention, diagnosis, testing and treatment of hepatitis C, and identify specific issues and potential solutions for tackling hepatitis C in Manchester and the wider north west region. Among the speakers were Mike Burrows (Managing Director, Greater Manchester Academic Health Science Network); Will Morton (Public Health Registrar, North West, PHE), Dr Andrew Ustianowski (Consultant in Infectious Diseases, North Manchester General Hospital); Dr Kristina Poole (Specialist Registrar in Health Protection, North West, PHE); and Dr Michael Gregory (Regional Clinical Director North, Specialised Commissioning, NHS England). These slides are taken from the day's presentations, as well as from the three afternoon workshops, and provide a host of relevant information for anyone concerned with tackling hepatitis C at both a local or national level.
